Founded in Hubbardton Vermont in 1974, Hubbardton Forge lighting began in a drafty old barn after gathering rusting anvils, trip hammers, swage blocks, and discarded tools of the trade. While times have changed to bring new and sophisticated technologies to the company, at Hubbardton Forge to a great extent, about drawing and coaxing a piece of red-hot iron. It is for this reason that the word hand-forged in the USA still appears on much of Hubbardton Forge’s literature. You see, unlike many of its competitors who have opted to large oversees mass production fabrication, Hubbardton Forge has stayed true to its origins with hand crafted design and artistry, and all this done right here in America.From early American Williamsburg designs to transitional craftsman, Hubbardton Forge lighting has continually inspired home designs with creative lighting products for every home application.

With remarkable adaptation to new technologies, Hubbardton Forge uses state of the art methods in achieving desired results. Now, when applied on specific pieces its bronze and dark smoke finishes show a defining temper, scaling, and hammering that is distinctive to the trade .
